Honestly, I’ve always loved Wall Water Fountains. I love seeing them in gardens, in hotels and in spa lobbies. I just get so relaxed when I hear running water and even more when I watch it fall down. According to fengshui books I’ve read, my element is water so that might be the case.

My dream house has a wall fountain in the garden, so I can relax in there whenever I want. I’m also thinking about adding a wall fountain to my dream outdoor bath. It would be so relaxing to lounge in a bath while watching streams of water falling down the stone walls and the birds chirping beautifully.

Online courses and classes.

I found some websites that offer free online courses. Most are computer science and programming courses but some of them offer some health and medicine, art and history as well as business and finance ones. There’s only a handful of humanities courses but it would probably increase in the future. Who knows maybe vocational courses would be offered online in the future too. I’m interested in trying floral arrangements and pottery apart from baking pastries so hopefully I’ll find some free courses for those soon enough.

StarWorld and weightloss.

I’ve been watching a lot of shows from StarWorld the past week. I’m loving Jane by Design since a lot of the pieces she’s been wearing are pieces that I’d definitely wear if I had a body like hers. It doesn’t help that a ton of America’s Next Top Model previous seasons have been playing in StarWorld. >.< I'm trying to lose weight and I'm going to try Jillian Micheal's 30 day Shred as well as Zumba and stop reading reviews of phenterex and other diet pills on my laptop.

I need to get of my butt.

I’ve been watching a lot of Revenge reruns lately. I’ve watched several episodes and had caught them replayed a few times but I still watch them. I can’t wait to get more episodes and maybe a few more seasons of it. It’s a good series to follow and something that I can’t wait to see more of.

Extreme Makeover Home Edition Philippines

I’ve been seeing a lot of people tagged in Facebook in a new show here in the country. It’s the local version of my favorite tv show, Extreme Makeover Home Edition. I’m not really sure how the local one will be since the houses in the US version were really gorgeous and amazing. I just don’t see how the local version will live up to their US counterpart especially since manufactured homes isn’t a big thing here. I honestly don’t know how they’ll be able to make extremely beautiful houses within 7 days with the building materials we have here.

Hopefully the houses don’t end up repossessed like the other extreme makeover houses in the US show. It was sad seeing those houses being taken from the families on the show in the news before.

Ideas and thoughts on possible fund sources for Whimsicalia.

I’ve been working on an adoptable world for a couple of years now. I haven’t really had much progress in terms of getting a site coded where players can interact with the site NPCs as well as other players. I have a good amount of pet art done before so I’m mostly in need of funds for coders and programmers. I was thinking maybe I can do custom t-shirts using our pet arts as a way to raise the programming funds we need to get the site started.

I’m still trying to figure out better ways to raise money for Whimsicalia since from what I’ve heard from other petsite owners, good coding can run between 1k-10k USD, and hosting isn’t included yet. >.< Wish me luck!

Moving from Windows 7 to OS X.

I’m finally taking the plunge. I’ve been a Windows girl since I first had my very personal computer which run on Windows ME. I’ve been stuck using XP until late last year when I still had my old desktop running. Luckily, my Mom’s was given a HP laptop by my aunt which run on Windows 7 so I had something to use while I had no pc or laptop of my own. When my aunt and uncle came back to visit this year, they gave us my cousin’s old Macbook which I never really poked and played with until a couple of weeks ago.

I managed to get it upgraded to Snow Leopard (it was running on Tiger before) and I was able to get a lot of the software I needed on it. I was scared to move before because I didn’t want to lose any of the programs I’ve grown to use for my projects. However after a few helpful replies from people who use it often for their art and coding needs, I finally got all the things I need to get my projects up and running again.

I still need to upgrade some of my Macbook’s hardware since it’s a bit slow when I have a ton of stuff running. I’m hoping to get 4gb RAM to speed things up and 1TB hard disk since I only have around 10gb spare right now. I also need to get a new magsafe and battery since the old battery is already 5.4 years old and it’s not holding its charge very well anymore.

I’m still learning how to use a lot of Apple specific softwares (and the shortcuts) so it’ll be a few weeks before I can use hotkeys easily like I did in Windows.

I can’t believe that I’m already 27 years old today. I still don’t feel a year older since nothing much has really happened in my life the past decade or so. I see a lot of my previous classmates all married and either with babies or children already in gradeschool I still remember my own godchildren who used to be so small and bundled in their bumbleride indie strollers and now they’ve graduated kindergarten.

Time flies fast. A lot of things have changed in the world, and although I feel like nothing has really changed for me, I know I’m a different person than I was 10 years ago.

Tracking local business trucks.

I have trucker friends in the US and a lot of them speak about how useful a trucking gps is for their work. It helps them stay on track and find their routes easier. Some local trucking businesses here are starting to think about getting gps for their own trucks. They feel that it can help both their drivers as well as their own tracking. They can determine where their own trucks are so it can help them when clients ask how long before their supplies get delivered and it can help them find delinquent employees. However there aren’t as many products available locally because people don’t usually buy gps products here.

Streetfood Tycoon.

I’m currently addicted to Kuyi Mobile’s Streetfood Tycoon. It’s free to play and you can purchase additional coins or a lottery ticket for larger amount of coins, but so far I’ve been able to go up the ranks without the need to buy coins.

It’s really a nice addicting game. The only downside to it is you’ll get hungry and crave for the streetfoods your selling. Unfortunately, no manong fishball or qwekqwek roams around our village at night. >.<
