I’ll wait for a few days before deciding if I need to invest on rain gear rather than summer ones.

Sorry for the crappy picture. I didn’t take that. We’ll its my usual chocolate cake only this time decorated with the sprinkles and marshmallows that I had. Mom forgot to buy candles that’s why we had to improvise with what resources we had.

Then on the 25th, it’ll be Dad’s birthday. This means another cake will be blessing our tables. If we don’t have extra cash for a Red Ribbon cake, I’ll whip up some chiffon base and maybe make a cinnamon icing. Dad loves cinnamon. xD

On the 30th (or is it 31st) the elders from the church will be dropping by for a meeting and it will be done at home. So I will have to bake either a large cake or make 3-4 dozens of cupcakes. xD

I’d need a lot of weight loss pills to lose all these sweet pounds. I can’t stop baking though. I’d rather be big and bake than be thin and give up what I love. <3

I’m not going to lie and say I’m not happy that its raining right now. I enjoy the cold weather because I sleep comfortably tucked between layers of blankets and pillows. I hated how hot it was back in March and early April because it was making my headaches worse. Cold weather doesn’t give me headaches and when I do get them its milder. I just hope its not this wet when classes start. I commute from Batangas to Buendia each day I have class and my classes start at 8 am. So I have to leave really early to come to school on time, I basically wake up at 3-3:30 am, take a shower, get dressed then leave our house around 4-4:30 am. It gets harder to commute when it rains and I especially don’t like it when it happens on Mondays.

I might go to Rob tomorrow if the weather isn’t too bad. I want to browse over some stuff at BookSale. I might be able to bump over some back issues of Paula Deen’s magazines.

Summer just got weirder for me. Its raining heavily for the past couple of weeks in my hometown. First we had a really humid summer start matched with scorching heat. Then it suddenly turned into sudden downpours. I do hope the climate isn’t that skewed yet. Classes start in a month and I don’t know what to expect on my commutes.

I was skeptical at first. The arrows were confusing me and I was doubting my reflex skills. I failed a lot, but I had a really good time. So much that I looked for a dance pad online when I got back home in Batangas. Hahaha. I don’t even have a PS2 and I was looking for the pad. Yep, I was that into it. I was even thinking that I’d get the dance pad first then save up to get a PS2 to play the game. I decided to search for the current price of PS2 using Google. Then I was so blessed to bump into a thread in TipidPC where a seller named george79 was selling dance pads. What caught my eye was their tag. It said, “Bnew DDR Dance Pad for PC and PS2 -freebies“. I decided to read on and found that we can get a PC version of the game (which is StepMania) if we purchase the dance pad. I was very interested so I contacted the seller and the next day after I found that thread, I got my dance pad and game after meeting his wife to pick it up.

When I got home, the laptop wasn’t home so I tried it first with my desktop. Unfortunately, I was having problems with my parallel port and my sound card so I couldn’t really run the game. When Dad came home, I immediately borrowed the laptop and installed the drivers, connected the pad, installed the game and clicked on run. When the game loaded, my younger siblings were so ecstatic. Everyone at home enjoys it (except my Dad because he doesn’t really dig arcade games) and we play it often. I am getting addicted to it and this summer vacation, I will be spending more time with it because I do not have summer classes.

It is seriously addicting. I am having so much fun while dancing and sweating and I don’t feel exhausted doing it. Unlike before when I went to the gym. I think I’m having fun because I get to spend time with my siblings playing it. It doesn’t feel like exercise, at times I don’t even realize I’ve been on it for two hours. For me it really isn’t a tool for loosing weight, its more of a fun activity for the whole family. Loosing weight is just a plus.

I'm the person who doesn't like summer much. I don't like going out and staying under the sun. I prefer staying inside and warding off the intense heat of summer. Unless its a mountainous place (with lush trees and a waterfall or even a small brook) that were going to, you won't be able to get me outdoors for a vacation. I like the sun, but I don't like getting my skin burned under it. >.<
