Healthy lifestyle.

I still think I can lose weight without actually undergoing weight loss surgery. I mean it would be great if I can lose all the weight I need to lose in one sitting but I’m not too sure I am ready to go under the knife for it yet. I still can try regular exercise and healthy meals and I think I can do it. Right now I’m trying to find a perfect balance between my work and a healthy lifestyle because I work nights and sleep in the morning.

I’m not working in a call center but the work I have right now deals with clients who are mostly in the US. I have to be awake when they are awake, so I usually end up sleeping in the mornings and waking up late afternoon or just before lunch.

Which to choose?

I wonder how people choose what weight loss pills to try. Whenever I surf around the world wide web, I come across different advertisements for different pills and methods, and its getting me confused. I want to lose weight but its hard to find out which programs really work. Maybe I should just try going back to being a pescitarian. My bestfriend started me on it since she had that diet and it sort of worked for me. At least it helped relieve my headaches.

Time and pills.

I don’t know why but diet pills really don’t work for me. Maybe part of the reason it won’t work for me is because I always forget to take it daily. I have a weird sleeping pattern so I’m awake on different times each day. I’m forgetful and one of the things I tend to forget would be to take pills even when I am sick. If I had a personal assistant who would remind me and have the same weird sleeping patterns as mine, those pills might work for me.

Curious.

I admit, I do stop and listen (or read) when I see advertisements that talks about weight loss. I’m overweight and I can’t really keep the weight off. At times I know its futile to keep reading fat burner reviews but it gives me some flicker of hope that I will one day win this battle and lose a lot of weight and get to my weight goal.

Yay for weight maintenance.

I haven’t gained weight, thank God. Hopefully I lose weight soon, at least some before our HK trip. Drew said we’ll walk a lot so I really don’t want to get tired easily because I’m heavy. When I get the chance, maybe I can get myself a dip station. I haven’t been able to get myself to the gym yet. My lazy butt wont budge. I’m just not that comfortable in crowded areas and the gyms here are crowded. I’ll just have to get myself an exercise machine if I can’t get over my tiny fear of gyms.

Losing the losing race.

I’ve tried a bit of weight loss products in the past and I think part of the reason why it failed on me was my failure to follow through. Sometimes when I started feeling a little discomfort, I stopped taking them. I’ve wasted some of the things I bought due to that. I might try it again and see if i can really finish the whole pack just to see if the stuff really works.

Life changes in 2010.

2009 wasn’t a very good year for me. The only happy thing I remember about it was my graduation from college. I gained a lot of weight the last quarter of 2009 because I was feeling so depressed and had no motivation at all. This year, I want to really make the most out of my life and that means I will tackle my weight issues for real. I’d like to experience outdoor fun and adventures this year so I need to get in shape so I can enjoy these kinds of activities.

I want to be able to run as much as I want without feeling tired and out of air after a few blocks.
I want to be able to climb hills and mountains without panting and getting nauseous from exhaustion after a few meters.
I want to be able to swim, ride a bike, walk the trails and feel happy, not sick.

I may not be able to get myself one of those home gyms due to budget constraints, but I promise myself that I will do the best I can for myself. This is my life and its the only one I got.

The weight month.

December is food month. I don’t know many people who can resist the temptations of succulent feasts for every Christmas party they go to. That’s why those weight control stuffs always get lots of searches during January. Things like Solo Slim. People have gained quite a bit of weight from all the food gathering of December that when January starts, people are on the move to lose weight for the upcoming summer vacation in April and May. I hope I can lose some weight before our HK trip. :D

Diet on Christmas.

Trying weight loss pills can be tempting, especially since the Christmas season is right around the corner. Food is abundant especially with all the Christmas parties each one attends. Plus there’s the Noche Buena, Town fiestas and the Media Noche. Good thing I don’t have many Christmas parties to attend this year. I wouldn’t be gaining as much weight as I did last season. Lol.

Kettlebells?

Has anyone seen those Kettlebells? I don’t think I’ve seen them yet locally. I rarely get interested on fitness equipment unless they’re threadmills, but these ones look cute. Maybe I can try them if they get to the local malls, usually near the appliance centers or HandyMan where those “As Seen on TV” stalls are located. I think someone I know would like that as a gift. :)
