Lenka’s coming next month! I really like her songs so I was really excited when I read the news about it. i already informed my friends about it and since they like Lenka, they’ll go too. Wheeeee!

As a side note, its really Christmas now here in Tanauan. Houses have started lighting their Christmas lights at night and the Christmas tiangge (bazaar like stalls/stores) have been sprouting in our place. I still have a few weeks left to think of good Christmas gifts for my family and friends. I’m thinking I’ll bake some goodies and just give those as gifts. I’d have to give some of them slimming pills because my sweets can be fattening. Don’t ask me how I know.

I really am sick of the news. Its always those scandals being shown and I just wish they’d stop airing it already. I’ve already stopped watching the news because of it. Even some professors drop some “hints” about them during the first day of class. >.> Its a serious issue and should be dealt as such but not to the point that news become tabloids. I don’t read tabloids, why would I watch one?

On a lighter note, I’ve been trying to create or visualize my dream house. Some say it helps greatly if we visualize what we want so I’ve been doing that and I really think it works. Promise.

That’s one of my dream patio sets. I never really had a large outdoor area in the houses we lived in so when I get my dream house, I want a large outdoor area. I’d love to live near a lake but if that’s not feasible, a pool would be fine. Then a vast garden which will house large old trees and beautiful flowers that bloom at different intervals of the year so that we’ll have blooms all year round. Plus a hammock and a waterfall. I’m still working on the details but jotting them down here makes it easier for me to visualize it more and add new ideas.

The fight between Ricky Hatton and Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao finally went through and Pacman won. He KO‘ed Hatton on the 2nd round. >.< That was too fast, it would have been funner to watch if it took around 5+ rounds. xD Guess Manny's going to be taking home a lot of money again. I wonder if he'll still fight after this. He's already got so much money. Maybe I should take boxing sometime. It looks like a really good activity to lose and keep weight off. Manny doesn't need to look for effective weight loss pills anymore. Heh.

Maybe I’ll opt for kickboxing. That’s how Judy-Ann lost her weight, right?

Oh well, I just saw in the Manila Times that Manny Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton’s fight might not push through again. They’re still fighting over the split with Manny wanting a larger split. Oh well, I think the saying that goes like “Once you get what you desire, you don’t end up satisfied, instead you start reaching for an even bigger desire…” rings true for this case. The fight with Hatton might not push through but according to the news and other blogs it seems Manny’s camp is talking with Floyd Mayweather Jr. for a possible fight.

Maybe their just building anticipation for the viewers, maybe its a psychological tactic to get more people to watch the fight or maybe not. Lol.

Well I was reading the newspaper yesterday or was it the other day and I saw that the boxing fight between Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton will be pushing through at the 50-50 profit split. It was said that initially Manny Pacquiao wanted to pull out because he wanted a 60-40 split, but he decided to push through with the 50-50 split when it was explained to him that it would include the UK pay-per-view profits. Oh well, it doesn’t really matter much to me. I just like sitting and watching with my family when a Pacquiao fight is on each year.

Its quite fun to watch although its a little bit disturbing especially when some messages circulated around the internet and text messages after Manny’s last fight. Someone mentioned that every time Pacquiao has a fight and wins it, someone well-known in our country dies. It might simply be a coincidence but its eerie nonetheless. Made me remember the movie my sister and I watched earlier on HBO. I think the title is “Stay Alive” because it was the game the characters in the movie were playing. It was really eerie because the gamers were dying in reality the same way they died on the game. Oh well, good thing I watched it in daytime.

By the way, talking about Pacquiao made me remember General Santos and the canned tuna and wildfang we were given last Christmas. I loved them although its quite disappointing that they are not sold in the country because they are exclusively for export in the UK as well as Denmark (or was it Norway). The tuna one was preserved in sunflower oil, the wildfang one I forgot. Seriously, they’re delicious. I’d really buy them if they were available on the local market.
