I’ve been watching a lot of shows from StarWorld the past week. I’m loving Jane by Design since a lot of the pieces she’s been wearing are pieces that I’d definitely wear if I had a body like hers. It doesn’t help that a ton of America’s Next Top Model previous seasons have been playing in StarWorld. >.< I'm trying to lose weight and I'm going to try Jillian Micheal's 30 day Shred as well as Zumba and stop reading reviews of phenterex and other diet pills on my laptop.

I need to get of my butt.

I’ve been watching a lot of Revenge reruns lately. I’ve watched several episodes and had caught them replayed a few times but I still watch them. I can’t wait to get more episodes and maybe a few more seasons of it. It’s a good series to follow and something that I can’t wait to see more of.

Extreme Makeover Home Edition Philippines

I’ve been seeing a lot of people tagged in Facebook in a new show here in the country. It’s the local version of my favorite tv show, Extreme Makeover Home Edition. I’m not really sure how the local one will be since the houses in the US version were really gorgeous and amazing. I just don’t see how the local version will live up to their US counterpart especially since manufactured homes isn’t a big thing here. I honestly don’t know how they’ll be able to make extremely beautiful houses within 7 days with the building materials we have here.

Hopefully the houses don’t end up repossessed like the other extreme makeover houses in the US show. It was sad seeing those houses being taken from the families on the show in the news before.

Streetfood Tycoon.

I’m currently addicted to Kuyi Mobile’s Streetfood Tycoon. It’s free to play and you can purchase additional coins or a lottery ticket for larger amount of coins, but so far I’ve been able to go up the ranks without the need to buy coins.

It’s really a nice addicting game. The only downside to it is you’ll get hungry and crave for the streetfoods your selling. Unfortunately, no manong fishball or qwekqwek roams around our village at night. >.<

Old movies and new TV shows.

I enjoy watching old movies, so naturally I love buying discount cds of my loved movies. I find that some new films use the same plot over and over again without doing any changes to the stories. Old films also provide me a sense of nostalgia since many of these films speak to what my generation experienced, how we were raised, how society expected us to act and generally had more good vibes. I’m not sheltered, I know how stark life can be but I find that through the years a lot of things have changed. TV is showing a lot more undesirable shows filled with vulgar and obscene scenes that children shouldn’t see.

If only apples aren’t too expensive….

I’ve been reading about Thunderbolt and it sounds really nice. I’m fed up with my USB ports since they take ages to load even on a newer-ish laptop. The Apple site says that with Thunderbolt you can move data at 10 Gbps compared to a measly 480 Mbps on a USB 2 port. >.< That would be really wonderful when transferring my files. Some of my friend who dabble in multimedia arts are anticipating the release of thunderbolt-ready devices for their video and audio projects. A friend who mixes audio can't wait for a thunderbolt audio interface since he just bought a new iMac.

Hopefully I can get an iMac for myself to use for my web projects once money isn’t tight anymore. I hope a big rewarding project comes in for me. I really do.

Since the year started, I’ve reactivated my PonyIsland accounts and started making pretty ponies again. I know it’s quite far from my dream of owning a real horse and wearing equestrian clothing, but it’s the closest thing I can own my own pony, for now. I’m back to training my ponies for the bonus points and ponygold, hopefully I can trade some soon to get my World of Warcraft starter account upgraded into a regular account so I can play for a month, and then hopefully get a subscription.:D

WoW is ebil. I’ve only been playing for a few days and I’m really addicted already. I’ve managed to level my first toon to 20 and she is a night elf hunter. Since I can’t upgrade yet,I’m starting a draenei hunter and leveling my blood elf priest too.

We have it easy now.

I remember back when I was in high school, we had to buy rolls of film for our cameras for events and celebrations. We had to make sure we don’t expose the film to sunlight when we take it out of the camera (or when we put it in) or else our pictures would be destroyed. We would spend a lot getting them developed even though we didn’t know how we would look like on the shots. To share these memories with our relatives and friends, we had to get several recopies and send them off in a packet or in an album. These days, its easy to take pictures with our digital cameras, choose the images that shows our best features and use online photo editing tools to make a slide show to post in our blogs and social networking profiles as well as email to our relatives abroad.

I love my iPod Touch.

I’ve used a lot of different mp3 players before I shifted into using ipods. I am currently using an iPod Touch which I seriously love. I can use it for playing songs, watching movies, playing games, surfing the internet and keeping my life organized. It’s my lifesaver especially in times when I can’t lug around a laptop when I go out. If I’m in a place where there is no wifi available and I really need to use the internet, I just run Joiku on my e63 then start the wifi from my cellphone. I’m thinking of getting a much larger memory when I get more funds, since right now I only have the 32Gb 3rd gen one. I might even decide to get the iPad, just in case. xD

Home Inn & PetVille.

I’ve been playing Home Inn in Facebook and I got a bit addicted to it. Its quite fun to design rooms for your own inn and I think I missed playing SIMS. The furniture available in Home Inn is quite simpler than those in SIMS but since I don’t have access to SIMS anymore, I’m not complaining. They just introduced some more designs or themes and hopefully they add more in the future. Some of the lights there reminded me of Dolan Designs when I saw it one time.

I’ve also been enjoying PetVille from Zynga. They have really cute pets and they have better furniture than Home Inn and Pet Society.
