I still think I can lose weight without actually undergoing weight loss surgery. I mean it would be great if I can lose all the weight I need to lose in one sitting but I’m not too sure I am ready to go under the knife for it yet. I still can try regular exercise and healthy meals and I think I can do it. Right now I’m trying to find a perfect balance between my work and a healthy lifestyle because I work nights and sleep in the morning.

I’m not working in a call center but the work I have right now deals with clients who are mostly in the US. I have to be awake when they are awake, so I usually end up sleeping in the mornings and waking up late afternoon or just before lunch.

I love my iPod Touch.

I’ve used a lot of different mp3 players before I shifted into using ipods. I am currently using an iPod Touch which I seriously love. I can use it for playing songs, watching movies, playing games, surfing the internet and keeping my life organized. It’s my lifesaver especially in times when I can’t lug around a laptop when I go out. If I’m in a place where there is no wifi available and I really need to use the internet, I just run Joiku on my e63 then start the wifi from my cellphone. I’m thinking of getting a much larger memory when I get more funds, since right now I only have the 32Gb 3rd gen one. I might even decide to get the iPad, just in case. xD

Since I have been given a lot of free time this year, I was thinking of getting an online degree. I have been hearing a lot about online education institutions for the past few years and I haven’t seen much local schools take that path. I am interested in trying WGU because I have learned that they are recognized by the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA) and have been awarded with the 21st Century Award for Best Practices in Distance Learning.

I am very much interested in taking an online IT degree that specializes in web development since that is where I see my career headed right now. I enjoy learning about web development so I was thinking of getting a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology. I think it is a good course to take so I can learn the fundamental IT skills and get the right certifications that can help me enter the IT industry. Learning online would be easier for me rather then enrolling in another college right now. It would be cost-effective for me to utilize an online learning environment, especially since I learn more when I am not confined in a classroom.

I’ll be checking more information about their financial aid opportunities. I might get to live with my aunt soon in the US so its worth looking into. It’s also interesting to see that they have a twitter account (http://www.twitter.com/wgu), which I haven’t really seen from other schools. I find it a good sign.

I got some new gadgets to play with a the other day and so far I’m loving them. I got myself a 32gb iPod Touch and a Nokia e63. I would have gotten them before the new year started but it was out of stock from the store I got them from. It was cheaper than other stores, not too sure if as cheap as circuit city when they were still around, though. I’m enjoying some new apps and software and I think all my siblings want their own Touches (not too sure how its plural form is spelled) to play with.

I know I need to get some real custom blog design for my blogs once everything in school has settled down. Once I graduate, I’ll be able to have free time that I can devote on updating and improving my blogs as well as my other web projects. I liked the theme this Naples photographer went for. Its something elegant and chic something that i want for some of my websites. in the meantime, I’ll keep browsing some websites and get design inspiration from them that I can apply when I get the time to sit down and beautify my blogs.

Well my plan to move last Sunday was foiled. My sister and our housemates are all sick with the flu from work. xD So my parents, especially Dad, was adamant that I go back home to Batangas after my classes so that I wouldn’t contract the flu from my housemates. T_T Good thing I didn’t pack yet.

So I’m still commuting this week. Hopefully they’ll be well by this weekend, if not, I’ll be staying in Batangas longer. At least I’m able to take care of some online stuff while I’m home. I found another medical coding training courses for Les to look at so hopefully she gets her internet connection back soon. I just remembered that I have to find a new internet provider when I move. They don’t have PLDT available in the building, only Globelines which suck more than PLDT does. We had them before so I know they suck. >.> I might end up getting the Sun Broadband plan since my friend, Vicky, who works for them said that the signal in the area where I’m moving to is strong.

SIMS 3 is out.

I want the SIMS3. Seriously. T_T

I’ve loved the SIMS when I was younger and I still love it. Hahaha. My sister who is finicky about computer games and deems them a waste of time snubbed all the games I showed her before except SIMS. It was the only game she really got interested in before before facebook apps came into play. We all love making houses and the larger the lot the better. Since I’ve heard from other players that the game has come out I’ve been itching to get it. I still need to save some money because its priced at $56.90 at the EA Store. I would’ve had no qualms spending the money I had left in my Paypal for it but my sister already has dibs on them. I’m moving to GA Tower 2 around the first week of July with her and her officemates. We have to pay the 2 month advance and 1 month deposit thing so I had promised her the amount I’ve saved. I figured it will be cheaper if i stayed with her there than commute from Batangas to school every time I have class. We can both save a lot as well because since we get to have a small kitchen, we can simply cook and pack our food and bring them to school/office rather than buy at the canteens. I can also get a water dispenser and order mineral water that we can use to fill our logo water bottles that we can bring as well. I don’t drink water in school. I have a very sensitive stomach. T_T

I’m praying for more moolah this June and July so I can get SIMS 3 and hopefully a new pc as well since I’d need one when I move. We’re getting internet there and I really need it for school. The cheapest desktops that I’ve seen lately go around in the $300 range, and they’re basic. The netbook I’ve been drooling at (MSI Wind U100 Plus) is at $533. Darn electronics are so expensive in our country. -sigh-

Blog migrations done but still wonky.

Migration to my new host started around 1:30 am earlier and I was emailed an hour ago that the migration has been completed. I updated the nameservers for this blog and so far its working properly. My other domains though are not working yet. Good thing I only updated the nameservers of 2/6 add-on domains I had. I chose those that won’t suffer much if used as my transfer guinea pigs. I’ve just emailed their support asking for help and such. I won’t be updating the nameservers yet for CPWS and BP since I will have to wait for their answers. Those sites can’t afford downtimes.

Moving hosts, revamping domains and trying not to get crazy.

I’ve mentioned earlier that my webhost is closing down. They have migrated us to new host and we were told the rates would stay the same. I however might be moving to a different host especially since I can save a lot if I move and use some discounts. I’m still trying to raise the needed funds to get my new hosting plan and I still need about $60 to get there. Hopefully I can raise the money needed by first week of May so that the transfer can be done and I can start rebuilding my other domains.

I have quite a bit of domains that needs to be revamped and hopefully I get to really get them all ready before classes start on May 25. These domains will sort of become one of my networked blogs since one would be about baking, the other a collection of quotes and the other one would cater topics about women and everything kawaii. Of the remaining domains, one will be given to my sister for her own blog. Its about time she left blogging in friendster and multiply. xD Another will start getting fresh posts each week, and the other will get an updated theme. This blog would remain the same, maybe get a different theme if I find something more suitable but for now I still love it.

Apart from that I am trying to create a fund for my baking so that I can start baking a lot and improve my skills. That would mean all the money I get after paying the hosting will be placed on my baking fund which means I will not be able to go to Puerto Galera this May with my 3.2 wavemates in TT-HP. I still have to find ways to pay for my tuition this coming term and its P30k+ which needs to be paid in cash because I am graduating. >.< So I have until June 6, I think, to get that money and enroll. Now I don’t know personally how that kind of money will fall on my hands but I trust and believe that Jesus will take care of it. He always makes a way and I can vouch for that because there has been countless times when we were in need and not knowing where we would get the needed funds but always and I mean ALWAYS, something or someone comes along to help us.

I’ve been eyeing some photos over at iStockphoto and I was lucky enough to stumble over a forum where Mabel of PinkPiGIllustration posted about having some iStockphoto vouchers. I dropped her an email and thank God she had an extra code. So I now have 10 credits that can be used in iStockphoto. I cant buy credits yet just now because I’m still fixing my hosting. Turns out my current webhost will be closing down and will just be up until this coming May. So I’m looking around for a new webhost that wouldn’t kill my non-existent budget. *giggles* Gah, I now need to worry about transferring files and stuff. The horror. >.<

P.P.S. My portfolio there is empty. >.< Back when I first applied I took ordinary photos. WHat they wanted were different and edgier ones. O.o I so need a Canon DSLR or even just a Lumix LX3.
