Pretty webdesigns.

I know I need to get some real custom blog design for my blogs once everything in school has settled down. Once I graduate, I’ll be able to have free time that I can devote on updating and improving my blogs as well as my other web projects. I liked the theme this Naples photographer went for. Its something elegant and chic something that i want for some of my websites. in the meantime, I’ll keep browsing some websites and get design inspiration from them that I can apply when I get the time to sit down and beautify my blogs.

Hell week.

These past two weeks have been hell week for all of us in school. Swamped with term papers, final presentations, last-minute exams and final projects, makes the last two weeks of this term a living hell. T_T The H1N1 class suspensions, plus lots of “holidays” announced by the Malacanang made the amount of school days less for this term so everyone is busy catching up the lost time. This week is the start of finals so most papers are due today and tomorrow (some were last week) plus the final exams. My brain is melting. Seriously.

After this week ends and course-cards are given, I will be able to take care of all my blogs and start blogging again. I’d have to check out directory listing so that my blogs would be able to rank again. They need love. :D

Evony: Age 1

Who else plays Evony: Age I? Its a free to play browser based game and they have quite a lot of servers already. I started playing it today because a friend from another game suggested it. I had some free time and I wanted to take my mind of all my school deadlines so i decided to check it out and I am hooked. Its something like Age of Empires and Civilization but browser based. I enjoy these strategic and civilization games because I enjoy seeing my towns grow. I used to play other browser based games before like Travian, Travians (they’re different from each other) and Kapilands.

Aesthetically speaking, its easy to the eyes and it has a calming tone to it. It makes me feel like I’m playing back in the middle ages so I like it a lot. The colors go well together and I can easily find what I need on the game’s interface. Everything is fine for me but I just hope that we get the option of minimizing the chat area in the future. I really don’t like how other players spam the boards and some are a little bit rude, so I would like to be able to minimize the chat window so I can enjoy the game without getting distracted by the flood of streaming text in front of me. :)

I think the game content is quite good and I enjoy how the difficulty increases as you grow your city. I’m still under the 7-day beginner protection so I am enjoying the pace of how my city grows. I will have sufficient time to build up my defenses as well as get a good amount of troops for scouting and farming. Although I am only after empty/abandoned cities and resources that have no owners. I don’t like conflict that much. Lol. I am enjoying the quests laid out by their team. It is very useful because the rewards are highly needed especially if you want to grow your empire as fast as possible. I enjoy buying resources using the ingame coins and I enjoy using the amulet to get access to the wheel of fortune. I’ve been able to get some really good prices from it, mostly high amounts of gold and iron. I’d like to get some coins when I get some funds because I really like the amulets. xD

Going gaga.

My brain has stopped functioning. Seriously. Earlier today I was up until 5:30am because I went through four cups of coffee to keep myself from falling asleep because I have so much to do for my class requirements. I slept around 6:00 am and then woke up around 10:30am because my alarm went off. I am supposed to attend a seminar for one of my classes at 3pm today but I am unable to go to Greenbelt for it since I am still in Batangas. My head is starting to hurt from all that caffeine and I still have a lot of things to do today and tomorrow. Monday and Tuesday are the deadlines for everything. -flails-

I want a horse.

My brain hurts thinking about my papers so I am trying to relax by tending with my ponies in PonyIsland. I promise myself once everything is settles in school and I have graduated, I’ll find an opportunity to ride a horse. I need to go outside and relax and I think being on a horse while feeling the cool wind and breathing fresh air would be a wonderful treat after stressing so much at school. I wonder if I can get breeches that would fit me. Hahaha. I still have to loose some weight for that. I should try Fernslim. :P

Cramming.

Next week is the last week of classes for this term and the following week would be the finals week. I haven’t been able spend time to blog and update some things that needs updating but I will tend to them after the cramming period ends. I have four classes this term and all have major paper requirements. I have one deadline on Friday, another on Monday, one on Tuesday and another on the 29th. On Monday, apart from having to submit the paper, we also have the presentation and a quiz for that same class. On Tuesday, we have another presentation for my other class. My brain has turned into mush in a span of two weeks. My brain cells are dying and we’ve just finished a quiz that dealt with annuities last week.

I pray that I pass all my classes this term so that I can graduate on October 10. Can you please pray for me to? ^_^

Back home.

I’m so tired from the commute. All this rain makes going home harder for people who commute every day. At least the rain stopped a bit before I rode the bus and until I got home. I decided not to bring my laundry home since its hard to bring lots of stuff when it rains. So I need to bring some clean clothes when I go back to Boni this Sunday. I don’t have any large bags to haul my stuff into and I left the biggest one I had in Boni when I left earlier. I really need to get something that can fit a lot of stuff, like one of those Eagle Creek luggage bags. I like their Deviant line and I especially like this:

I think my sister will like it too since she likes green as well. Though I think she’ll like the cosmetic caddy more.

Clarity: Redefining beauty through expert care.

Clarity logo

I had the chance to experience the professional services of Clarity Aesthetic Medical and Dental Center (sister company of Healthway who offers multi-specialty medical services) at the 5th level of Shangri-La Plaza Mall last Monday. Earlier last week, I was already thinking of getting a facial because I desperately needed one. I was staring at my nose and my blackheads were really visible so I knew I needed to get a facial as soon as possible. As luck would have it, I saw Janette Toral’s status in Facebook last Friday night saying that she was looking for two lady bloggers who can join her on a diamond peel session on Monday. I commented on her status and I was surprised when I received a call from her a few minutes after. She asked if I was available and I said yes. By then I was really ecstatic and excited since not only was I getting a free facial (which I really needed), I was also getting an opportunity to meet Janette for the first time.

Reception

Reception

So Monday rolled by and I was finally able to meet Janette and Lace. When we came in, we were greeted warmly by their receptionist and then we were introduced to their managers and doctors. We were then toured around their facilities and were introduced to the services that their clinic offers. As explained by their doctors, Clarity offers several aesthetic services such as:

*Skin Peeling (Intense Diamond Peel, Chemical Peel and Spanish Peel)

*Laser Treatments (Intense Pulsed Light, Diode Laser and CO2 Laser)

*Cosmetic Surgical procedures (Facial and Nasal contouring Breast and Body contouring, Tattoo Removal and Permanent Cosmetics/Dermagraphics)

*Dental Services (General Dental Services, Aesthetic Dentistry, Oral Surgery and Implantology as well as Pediatric Dental Services)

Mask time <3After the peel

Among the following services, we were able to experience their facial cleaning and intensive diamond peel first hand. I was attended to by Divine and I really enjoyed the hour and a half session with her. She knew what she was doing and she was able to answer my questions (which were really a lot) about their services as well as other details with regards to my facial needs. She started out with the massage followed by scrubbing, brushing, steaming, pricking, masking and then the diamond peel. I was a bit surprised that I didn’t feel any pain during the pricking part. Last time I had my face cleaned from another derma clinic, it hurt. It is interesting to note that they (Clarity) do not insist on pricking when their clients specifically say no. Other clinics usually insist (like my previous experience) and I was glad that Clarity does not pursue the matter if a client declines. After the treatment was finished, I didn’t just feel so clean and refreshed, I also noticed a considerable change in my face. My cheeks are glowing again (yay!) and my nose looks better. Even Janette and Lace said so. :D

I am very impressed with their clinic because apart from their professional staff and service, their clinic was clean and aesthetically pleasing as well. They have individual rooms for clients which made each treatment private and personal. The lighting, ventilation and music also helped me relax and become more comfortable during my treatment. I am very interested to go back there again next month for another appointment. I might even get other services (such as a laser treatment and dental services) when my funds permit me to. I found out that their services are quite affordable even when compared to other clinics. I’ve also been told that they are currently offering a promotion where individuals who book an appointment for their diamond peel services between 8-10am (Mondays-Sundays) can have a 50% discount which makes the price Php 500. Not bad eh? Also I’ve been told that they’re cooking up some promotions especially for people who become their fan in Facebook. They might have some free diamond peel sessions as part of that so I would highly recommend adding them up.

Clarity definitely offers beauty through expert care. I’ve tried their services and I know for a fact that I’ll not only come there again but I’ll also be recommending them to my friends and family. So the next time you’re strolling at the mall (like Shangri-la, SM The Block, RP Manila, ATC and Market!Market!) stop by their clinic and check them out.

P.S. You can check out their website if you want to learn more about their services:
