Chronicles of Nika

Well my bad month is about to end unless February 2009 suddenly sprouts another February day tomorrow. To celebrate this I finally decided to purchase my avatar name in IMVU. Lol. Well I figured its about time, I registered there way back in ‘05 and I am recently hooked with it again. The new houses, clothes and animations are so much fun. Its like having SIMS all over again.

Besides its currently the only place I can have more than 10 houses under my name. Virtual property is way cheaper than real life. Tsk tsk. I have my own beach house, villa, forest, coffee shop, cabin, and a whole lot more. If I had those in real life, I’d be so rich. Well I don’t really want to own a forest though. I imagine it would be quite hard to ask my minions for rent. They have claws and fangs which I naturally don’t have. Unless you count the times when the situation calls for one. O.o

Soooo there. I was a bit bummed a few hours after that purchase though because then I received a message from my domain provider that my domain was expiring quite soon. So I panicked then realized, I’ll just have to borrow from Dad via the plastic. So I only need to sell some cookies to offset the money used for my avatar name and my domain renewal so I can pay Dad when the next month’s bill comes in. -dances-

I decided that I needed some emotional boosting and nothing makes me happier than baking something. I decided to tackle the chocolate chip cookies again and this time I made them huge. Mrs. Field’s huge-like sizes. I think they turned out great, though too sweet since I forgot I had unsalted butter and used that. xD I have to remember to stock up on salted butter as well net time I do my pantry list. -hums-

Its not because people deem it the “Hearts Month”, rather this February ‘09 has been quite a bad month for me. First off all my absences from my classes happened this month. Definitely not a good sign since I’m trying to perfect my attendance to maximize my learning. Then I became a victim of online identity theft which really spooked me. Then I became sick. Now I’m depressed. I just want this month to pass so I can go on with life again.

I definitely need to start listening to The Secret again. I need to shoo the bad juju away. Positive thinking, Nika. Positive thinking.

Edit: After posting this, I realized, this is the first time I posted for this month. Tsk. Definitely not my month. *mumbles*
